The benefits of the AF (Air Flow) family of Sun-Mar Centrex products are three-fold. First, the AF requires no water for flushing. Second, the AF composting toilet system features a larger composting drum, which gives the AF a longer composting cycle, allowing larger waste volumes. And third, the the greater surface area within the evaporating chamber provides the AF with superior evaporation. This means that a drain line need only be connected if over-capacity use or prolonged power outages are expected.The net result of these innovations is greater overall capability, with reduced maintainence requirements. When used seasonally (by up to 9 adults), compost will only need to be removed annually at the beginning of the cottage season.
